The three components of programs that are effective in getting the best results in the shortest period of time, as opposed to those that are not, include what I like to call the three legs of the chair.
The Three Legs of the Chair:
And when you take out any one of those three legs, the chair will collapse.
So, those three legs symbolize the right system, the right support and the right accountability.
The right system means the right steps taken in the right order that lead to a RESULT.
The system that we will design, will be be custom made for you and the unique circumstances of your life.
The right support means someone to help encourage you when you’re feeling stuck, when you’re turning in circles or you just can’t see any other options out. There’s going to be moments of disappointment and judgment and this support piece means having someone to encourage you when things don’t turn the way you expected.
The accountability piece – I like to call it a “kick in the butt, when you’re falling off track”. We often know what to do; we just don’t always do it. And it’s useful to have someone to hold us to the highest version of ourselves that we can dream up. That’s why it’s so important to have a coach.
This program is about being a Disciple of yourself.
When you’re a disciple of yourself, you want what’s best for you every day: Making choices, whether it’s about exercising consistently or food choices or managing your emotions and relationships around you becomes easy and obvious.
It’s just what you do because you’re a disciple of yourself and a disciple makes the choices that serves the highest version of you that you can imagine at this time.
And, of course, you’ll get to that higher version and then there’ll be new limiting beliefs and restraints. But from where you’re standing right now, we’re just trying to get to that next higher version that we can imagine.
